Calling All Self-Published Authors!

We Want YOU for a New Interview Series

By:hartboyWe’ve done a lot of talking (err…writing) over the past few months about aspects of the self-publishing process in hopes of authors (both first-timers and experienced) achieve their publishing goals.

But, let’s face it. No matter how hard we try to describe the process, we can’t account for the vast array of experiences out there, and that’s why we want to hear from you!

Are You a Current (or former) Self-Published Author?

Duolit is proud to announce our first Self-Published Author Interview Series, starting…well, whenever someone steps up and volunteers to be the first victim…err, subject. Kidding aside, we hope for it to be a fun and revealing process. Here’s how we’ll do it:

  • After you let us know your interest, we’ll shoot you an e-mail to confirm and ask for  a sample of your self-published book(s) and/or an author bio (if you have one).
  • Based on the materials you sent, we’ll decide upon the interview questions and e-mail them to you to answer at your earliest convenience.
  • When we receive your answers, we’ll construct the post containing the interview and send it to you for your approval.
  • After your approval, we’ll post the interview on the following Monday, including a link to purchase your book(s) and your website (if applicable).

Why Should I Give an Interview?

Aside from looking very professional in your media kit, interviews are a great way to gain exposure to a new audience. In addition, you’ll be helping your fellow authors by sharing your experience. No matter how new you are to the process, how many books you’ve published, how successful your book(s), or how difficult/easy your journey  – we want to hear from you!

If you’re interested in being interviewed for the series, please let us know by commenting, sending us an e-mail, or tweeting @duolit.
